Welcome to our fourth edition of our "Community Basis" newsletter. We had a very busy summer at CCBR, even with people taking vacation to enjoy some time away. Since our last e-news communication we have been involved in many exciting new projects, community engagements, conferences, and travels within Canada and abroad. 2008 2nd Quarter
May 02, 2008 - Welcome to the third volume of our newsletter "Community Basis". We have been greeting the long awaited Spring weather with a number of exciting new projects, community engagements, educational events, and a busy social calendar. 2008 1st Quarter
Feb 01, 2008 - It is already shaping up to to be a busy and vibrant 2008 here at the Centre for Community Based Research. We are in the midst of our 25th anniversary, which began last September with the launch of our new website and new name. We continued the celebration with our Gala Alumni dinner this month, with more events to come. New staff have joined our team and many new projects have begun at the Centre in recent months. We are looking forward to a productive year of community research, knowledge sharing, and community development.
In the second volume of our new online newsletter, Community Basis, we introduce a few of our new and ongoing projects, community events at the Centre and link you to some of the innovative work we are engaged in.

This is the first of many future communications in which you can learn about our current projects and initiatives at the Centre for Community Based Research and read related articles regarding research findings, new developments in theory and practice, and a range of perspectives on important social issues. It is our hope that our regular e-news circulation will serve as gateway to our new website where you can find out more about our work in community-based research and social innovation.
