Cross "X" Generation Conversations
Oct 20, 2011
Aiding Dramatic Change in Development (ADCID) and the Centre for Community Based Research are partnering in a community development project in Niagara Falls, beginning in October, 2011. The project will use Socio-Drama Topography - an arts based engagement process that combines community mapping with non-verbal dialogue and socio-drama exercises. This process allows participants to explore and discuss social issues and work towards change in their community.
Socio-Drama Topography was developed by ADCID during their 7 years of work with rural and township communities in South Africa.
Jonathan Lomotey of CCBR
is collaborating with Jennifer Jimenez and Stephen Sillett of ADCID. Other partners in this project are Fort Erie Multicultural Centre
and Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre. The main funder of this project is the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
