CCBR to conduct training in Newfoundland
Feb 24, 2012
This series of presentations by CCBR staff members will focus on building capacity in community-based research.
This is a second training trip to
Newfoundland. It will start in Corner Brook with a Regional Training
Workshop for 120 people (hosted by the Pepsi Center, with 7 regional web cast
sites and 1 remote cyber-site). There will be also a series of meetings to plan the
next Community University Exposition, CU Expo 2013 here. Then, meetings
will move to Clarenville, with a focus on a community-based research approach to
a homelessness project (with 30-35 people). The last day will be spent in St.
John’s with various stakeholders and small groups. Read here for what happened.
