"Ignite Innovation" Website Launched
Feb 23, 2012
The focus of the website is on improving health for pregnant women who smoke. It is sponsored by a collaborative group helping women in their childbearing years to quit smoking. The aim is to enable women to design their own evidence-based and contextualized smoking cessation programs. Partners include the Peterborough County-City Health Unit, North Bay Indian Friendship Centre, Centre for Addictions and Mental Health, Ontario Tobacco Research Unit, and the Program Training and Consultation Centre.
CCBR staff members Joanna Ochocka, Jennifer Walker and Rich Janzen have been working with Echo staff members to complete this initiative.
