CCBR Contributes to International Communique

The communiqué calls on higher educational institutions around the world to address the deep challenges of sustainability by taking more responsibility from a knowledge perspective. The statement was released by the "Big Tent" Group of regional and global higher education and engagement networks via a process facilitated by Canadian leaders. Read the full communiqué here.

Canadian members of the drafting and / or facilitation process included: Budd Hall, Leslie Brown, Maeve Lydon (University of Victoria), Joanna Ochocka (Centre for Community Based Research) and Linda Hawkins (Research Shop, University of Guelph). They are members of The Global Alliance for Community Engaged Research (GACER), which is based at the University of Victoria.
