Work with Sanguen Health Centre continues
Feb 28, 2013
CCBR was contracted to do a needs assessment to understand the service needs of people living in the Region of Waterloo who have been affected by traumatic life experiences. The needs assessment identified populations affected by trauma, documented existing trauma-related services in the region, and identified the gaps in trauma services and ways to bridge them. The findings of the needs assessment provided basis for action planning towards providing accessible and appropriate trauma services in the region.
CCBR has worked with other clients looking at people dealing with trauma in their lives. In 2007, United Way of Greater Toronto contracted CCBR to work with Turtle House Art and Play Centre to design and implement tools for a new program. This program was established to provide art therapy for child victims of trauma. To read more about this, go here.
