Mobilizing Newcomers and immigrants to Cancer Screening Project
May 25, 2013
CCBR prepared and delivered a training session on facilitation to eight Peer Health Educators. With the Peer Health Educators, CCBR co-facilitated 24 focus groups with newcomers and immigrants in London.
We have conducted research in the field of health promotion for many projects in the past. In 2010, we worked with ECHO: Improving Women's Health in Ontario looking to increasing cancer screening for women who seldom or never screened. To read more about this, go to thispage.
CCBR worked with ECHO again in 2010, looking at key learnings to support smoking cessation during and after pregnancy. To learn more about this project, follow this link.
