"Through the Eyes of Women" report published
Dec 12, 2013
The Centre for the Study of Co-operatives and Community-University Institute for Social Research at the University of Saskatchewan has released the report "Through the Eyes of Women: What a Co-operative can mean in Supporting Women During Confinement and Integration."
Incarcerated women were asked for insight on how to improve the skills training provided during incarceration, leading to the suggestion that a cooperative model of reintegration might support their resiliency in the future. Other co-authors include Isobel Findlay, Patrick Ince, and Sarah Takahashi. Read the full report here.
