Successful C2U Expo 2015 at Carleton University in Ottawa

From May 23-29, four researchers at CCBR (Joanna Ochocka, Rich Janzen, Alethea Stobbe and Kyla English) attended and presented at the bi-annual Community College University Exposition (C2U Expo) at Carleton University in Ottawa. They also participated in multiple pre-conference sessions, including a Roundtable about CBR and two workshops about CBR impact and CBR international collaborations.

Throughout the conference, CCBR gave a total of six presentations on a variety of topics, from indicators of excellence in CBR to the role of churches in immigrant settlement and integration. On May 26th, Joanna Ochocka also participated in the launch of a new book entitled  Strengthening Community University Partnerships: Global Perspectives, alongside Budd Hall (Victoria, B.C.), Wafa Singh (India), Henk Mulder (Netherlands), Beth Tyron (USA) and Josee-Anne Riverin (Quebec) (see image below).
