Sara Kafashan, Researcher

Sara Kafashan has a Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Guelph. Sara’s dissertation focused on understanding interpersonal human behavior by exploring the various strategies people employ to form and maintain social bonds.
Sara is passionate about using research to facilitate social change within communities. Sara joined CCBR in the fall of 2017 and is currently working on projects related to mental health and addictions, immigrants and refugees, poverty and homelessness, and adults with intellectual disabilities.
