A diversity, equity and inclusion evaluation of ASO’s First Link Care Navigation program

CCBR is working closely with staff at the Alzheimer Society of Ontario (ASO) to facilitate a province-wide evaluation of the accessibility and value of their First Link Care Navigation (FLCN) services to racialized, Indigenous and ethnically diverse (RIED) communities.

We will use multiple qualitative methods to understand the needs and experiences of RIED service users (people living with dementia and care providers). Data generated during this evaluation will be grounded in the lived experiences of RIED service users, ASO staff and key informants (local & regional partners).

Findings from the study will be used to inform ASO’s ongoing efforts to close the gap in dementia support for racialized, Indigenous and ethnically diverse communities.
