Understanding Suicide Prevention Services and Supports in the Waterloo Region

In 2018, the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council created a report assessing local suicide rates in the Waterloo region. The council invited CCBR for the next stage of their efforts to understand the gaps in statistical data. The purpose of this evaluation is to examine the profile and trends in the Waterloo region with regards to suicide and learn the implications they have on prevention efforts and strategies. CCBR will gather qualitative data through interviews with key informants including regional service providers of mental health services and other health services.
