This September Kendyll Cassels joins the Centre for Community Based Research as a new Student to contribute to our work and learn practical skills in community-based research.
Kendyll is a Master of Social Work student at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is passionate about inclusion, particularly relating to refugees and those who have been displaced. In addition to her Bachelor of Social Work, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing many years ago. Her experience in the nursing field informs her current practice. One of her interests is related to libraries and how they contribute to inclusion and belonging.
Kendyll is a mother of two and lives with her children and spouse in Waterloo. She enjoys many types of crafts, music, reading, and playing board games with her friends and family.
