Rashmi Narkhede has experience in community-based program evaluation and applied research. She is committed in enhancing capacities and working collaboratively with community partners to undertake research that is both participatory and geared towards actionable results. Previously, Rashmi has held roles as a Research Assistant at Trillium Health Partners and the University of Toronto, Mississauga. During these positions, she focused on program evaluation and community-based participatory research with a particular emphasis on health equity and healthcare disparities among racialized populations. Her personal experience as a recent immigrant from a racialized community has profoundly influenced her approach to addressing healthcare disparities and advancing equitable health outcomes, ensuring that both research and policy initiatives address the diverse needs of the communities she serves.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Rashmi enjoys spending time with her children, preparing their favorite meals, and engaging in social interactions. Her love for music and meaningful conversations enriches her personal life and complement her professional work.​
